Job Overview:
The Part-Time Aquatic Weed Fragment Control Crew (Seasonal) is responsible for fragment control and collection during TKPOA harvesting operations that occur during the summer season in accordance with the Waste Discharge Requirements and TKPOA’s Integrated Management Plan.
Schedule: 8AM – 4:30PM Shift; about 20 hours/week
Compensation: $22-26/hr
FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client's property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client's directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Your Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain all required equipment of a 16-foot Fragment Control Boat
- Control / collect harvested weed fragments and collect weed piles from designated areas
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports
- Complete duties and support the TKPOA AIS Management Program as required
- Employees are required to follow all boating regulations in accordance with USCG Boating Safety Guide and TKPOA Watercraft Policy
- Small craft boating experience
- Basic mechanical experience on outboard motors
- Map / GPS / Radio certification or training
- Ability to identify Lake Tahoe’s Aquatic Plants
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid Driver’s License and State Mandated Vehicle Insurance
- Must be able to work for entire specified season without taking any significant time off
