Our client, a legal firm in Boston, MA is seeking an experienced payroll coordinator to join their team. This role will oversee the full-cycle payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely execution for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for 420 employees across multiple states using ADP Workforce Now.
- Reconcile payroll, ensuring accurate tax withholdings and deductions.
- Calculate prorated wages for hires, terminations, and status changes.
- Manage timekeeping records and coordinate with HR on employee updates.
- Import payroll data, including salaries, bonuses, and deductions.
- Generate payroll reports and assist with compliance filings (EEO, ACA).
- Process garnishments and review payroll schedules.
- Maintain and update records in HRIS, Accounting, and Financial Planning systems.
- Support cash flow projections and employer tax estimates.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and payroll policies.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries and maintain confidentiality.
- Cross-train a backup for payroll functions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 5 years in payroll administration, including benefits and 401(k).
- Strong knowledge of payroll taxes, garnishments, and compliance.
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now, Excel, and accounting systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive data with discretion.
