Our client, a global technology leader , is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Global Benefits to lead and evolve its global benefits strategy across 50 countries supporting approximately 6,000 employees. This is an exciting opportunity to influence employee experience on a global scale while partnering with senior leadership in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
As the Senior Manager, Global Benefits, you'll lead the strategy, design, and administration of comprehensive global benefits programs while ensuring they remain competitive, compliant, and aligned with business objectives. You'll manage a team of two and collaborate closely with HR, Finance, Legal, regional leaders, and external partners around the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's global benefits strategy across 50 countries
- Design and enhance benefit programs that support employee well-being, engagement, retention, and cost effectiveness
- Manage global health, retirement, wellness, insurance, leave of absence, and workers' compensation programs
- Partner with regional HR teams and external brokers to ensure local compliance and effective program delivery
- Conduct market benchmarking and competitive analysis to maintain best-in-class benefit offerings
- Lead governance, compliance, audits, renewals, and regulatory reporting across multiple jurisdictions
- Manage global vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and performance reviews
- Support mergers and acquisitions by integrating benefit programs into newly acquired organizations
- Develop employee communications and education programs that improve awareness and participation
- Analyze benefits utilization, cost trends, and ROI to support strategic decision-making
- Partner with Finance and HRIS teams on budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Work with Environmental Health & Safety teams to support initiatives that reduce workplace injuries and illnesses
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- CEBS certification or advanced degree is a plus
- 7-10 years of progressive global benefits experience
- 2-3 years of leadership experience managing people and programs
- Deep knowledge of international benefits practices, compliance, and legislation
- Experience managing benefits across multiple global regions, including the Americas, EMEA, and APAC
- Proven success developing global strategies while balancing local market needs
- Strong vendor management and contract negotiation experience
- Excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed, global organization
