Senior Fixed Asset Accountant

This is a senior-level accounting position that requires expertise in fixed asset accounting.

About the Role

• Oversight of the full lifecycle of fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and transfers.
• Maintenance and reconciliation of the fixed asset subledger to the general ledger on a monthly basis.
• Ensuring capital expenditures are properly classified and in compliance with internal policies and GAAP.

Responsibilities

1. To collaborate with finance and operations teams to track project costs and ensure timely asset capitalization.
2. To prepare fixed asset reports for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close.
3. To support audits by providing required documentation and analysis.
4. To drive process improvements and contribute to automation initiatives.
5. To assist with fixed asset integration during acquisitions and business combinations.
6. To remain current with fixed asset accounting best practices and regulatory changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of fixed asset accounting experience.
• Oracle Cloud proficiency preferred.
• CPA certification preferred.
