Senior Accounting Manager

Our client is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager with 7 years of progressive accounting experience. This role oversees month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, GAAP compliance, and management of a small accounting team. Candidates must be an active CPA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Manage workflows, documentation, and reporting standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, including system automation and optimization.
• Review reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements for accuracy.
• Collaborate with internal departments to establish accounting standards.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of accounting professionals.

Requirements:

• 8–12 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Active CPA license.
• Experience in manufacturing accounting.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
