A Day in the Role

Face-to-Face Sales & Customer Service

Cashier & Checkout Operations

• Process purchases accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Handle cash, credit/debit cards, mobile payments, and gift cards.
• Process returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policies.
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer and balance transactions at the end of each shift.
• Ensure every checkout is fast, friendly, and accurate.

Store Operations

• Restock merchandise and maintain organized product displays.
• Keep checkout areas and the sales floor clean, stocked, and customer-ready.
• Support promotional campaigns and seasonal merchandising.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs.
• Assist with general store operations as needed.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with team members and management to achieve store goals.
• Participate in paid training and ongoing professional development.
• Share customer feedback and ideas to improve the shopping experience.
