Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Female Driver / Caregiver to provide evening care and transportation services for our clients. This role is vital in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of individuals who require assistance with daily activities, mobility, and companionship during evening hours. Responsibilities
- Safely transport clients to appointments, errands, or social activities during evening hours using company vehicle.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Monitor clients’ health status by observing vital signs and overall condition; report any concerns promptly.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and engaging environment.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe living space.
- Follow care plans meticulously, including medication reminders and documentation of care provided in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including proper use of assistive devices like Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs when necessary.
Skills
- Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, or long-term care environments.
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, and memory care best practices.
- Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, HIPAA compliance training preferred.
- Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder with patience and understanding.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and assist with transfers using appropriate equipment.
