Job Summary
We are seeking a caring and energetic Female Caregiver to join our team for 10-hour day shifts in Middleburg, VA. This vital role involves providing comprehensive personal care and support to clients with diverse needs, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support
• Monitor patients’ health status by observing vital signs and reporting any changes promptly
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding as necessary
• Support patients with medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations
• Utilize patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques to ensure safe mobility
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities, observations, and medication records
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life

Experience

• Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments preferred
• Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, and neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism or intellectual disabilities support
• Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques and vital signs measurement
• Experience with care plans, medication administration, patient transfer methods, and HIPAA compliance required
• Hands-on experience with personal transportation assistance and assisting with ADLs essential
• Strong background in geriatrics, hospice care, or long-term care settings highly desirable
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and execute manual handling techniques effectively
