Role Overview:

As a Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for delivering compassionate support and assistance to clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our dedicated team to positively impact the lives of those we serve. Whether you work full-time, part-time, or on-call, you’ll have the flexibility to create a schedule that suits your lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing companionship and engaging conversation to enhance clients’ social well-being.
• Preparing and serving healthy meals to support nutritional needs.
• Assisting clients with bathing, grooming, and personal care to promote dignity and respect.
• Managing light housekeeping and laundry tasks to ensure a clean and comfortable environment.
• Facilitating shopping, errands, and transportation to help clients maintain their independence.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

• Previous caregiving experience or relevant training.
• Compassionate nature and a genuine desire to improve the lives of others.
• Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients.
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the caregiving field.
• Willing to travel to surrounding counties.

Bonus If You:

• Possess experience in home health care settings.

This position offers full-time, part-time, and on-call shifts available to accommodate various schedules.

Location:

This position in located in clients homes in Frankfort, Kentucky and all surrounding areas and counties.
