Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive personal care assistance, including help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as eating, toileting, and medication reminders, following individualized care plans.
Safely operate various patient transfer methods, including Hoyer lifts and other manual handling equipment.
Transport clients to medical appointments, community outings, and errands using reliable personal transportation methods.
Monitor residents’ health by observing vital signs, patient condition changes, and overall well-being; report findings to healthcare professionals as needed.
Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks like cleaning and meal preparation to promote health and comfort.
Support residents with specialized needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's disease, memory care, or neurodevelopmental disorders through attentive observation and personalized support.

Skills
Experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments.
Strong knowledge of patient monitoring techniques, medication administration, and vital signs assessment.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information.
Ability to assist with complex mobility needs using equipment like Hoyer lifts and patient transfer techniques.
Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration.
Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, hospice care, and memory support strategies.
Proficiency in emergency response procedures including CPR and first aid certification.
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism or intellectual disabilities support.
Capability to perform light housekeeping tasks like cleaning and meal preparation to support overall well-being.
Understanding of home & community care practices to promote independence outside institutional settings.
