About the Opportunity
Partial Job Requirements (Complete requirements are outlined in the Job Specifications.)
- Under general supervision operates all Company vehicles for the primary purpose of transporting materials and supplies interstate and intrastate.
- Loads and unloads vehicles utilizing equipment as required.
- Responsible for maintaining all paperwork associated with this position.
- Performs other related and lesser skilled work as required.
- Directing and training assigned employees.
- Must possess a valid Class “A” Commercial Driver’s License and pass a tractor trailer driving, manual transmission, and load securement skills demonstration as prescribed by the Company.
- Must be willing to work extra and/or irregular hours as required.
- Strength and dexterity adequate to safely perform all the duties of this classification. Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to pass physical ability test to demonstrate two techniques of lifting as prescribed by the Company.
- Must be at least a high school graduate or possess the GED equivalency.
- Must be particularly alert in observing hazards and avoiding accidents.
- Must be able to develop and plan work of limited scope.
