What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Operations Center Technician position at FirstDigital and Careers?
FirstDigital is a locally owned and operated telecommunications provider. We are looking for a Junior Network Engineer to help with day-to-day operations, tasks and maintenance. This individual will assist with customer network issues and maintain the computers, network, and servers required for internal operations.
Responsibilities:
· Provide technical assistance and first level trouble resolution for customers.
· Provision new orders for voice and Internet services.
· Manage and support network elements with normal maintenance and updates.
· Manage internal servers with regular maintenance, software updates, etc.
Requirements:
· Strong understanding of IP subnetting.
· Strong understanding of network troubleshooting
· CCNA or equivalent level experience
· Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot network level issues
· Strong customer service skills
· Ability to work on-call as needed.
