POSITION OVERVIEW
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join the fast-growing Electrical Team at Starr Electric. This person is responsible for overseeing projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, critical thinking skills, and a deep understanding of electrical systems, codes, and construction processes. The Senior Project Manager collaborates with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee projects from inception to completion.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective execution.
- Review blueprints, specifications, and contracts to ensure project requirements are met.
- Supervise and support the team, ensuring quality workmanship and safety compliance. Minimum management experience of 5 years or more.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams for smooth project execution.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues to avoid project delays.
- Track project progress, document key milestones, and prepare reports for stakeholders.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Oversee projects from planning to completion, ensuring timely and budget-conscious execution.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams to align expectations.
- Ensure compliance with all codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT
The Project Manager will report to the General Manager. Must be able to travel inside the State of Georgia.
Qualifications:QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training, engineering degree, or certification in electrical preferred
- 7 years of experience in field, with at least 2 years in a project management role
- Experience managing commercial and industrial projects, preferred.
- Strong knowledge of systems, codes, and construction processes.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
- PMP Certification, preferred.

Physical Demands
