POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Plumbing Designer/Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, layout, and coordination of plumbing systems for a variety of commercial, residential, and/or industrial projects.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate best/most appropriate design solution through application of industry knowledge while considering Client and Project specific parameters
- Lead project, provide design direction or support projects as assigned or needed
- Provide technical assistance for multiple projects during complete design and implementation life cycle
- Review designs and formulate or incorporate team identified value engineering options
- Prepare necessary drawings, specifications, and system models using application of theory and practical knowledge of construction best practices
- Communicate with team members, Clients, other consultants, project professionals, authorities having jurisdictions and others as necessary to complete project and promote the interests of the Client

ORGINAZATION ALLIGNMENT
This position is reported directly to the local Branch Leader.
Qualifications:QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field will be considered
- Plumbing design for buildings (built environment) - Commercial, Retail, Industrial, Multi-Family, Medical, Sports, Technology
- Revit knowledge and experience developing designs independently and as part of a team
- Work with Architectural firms and owners in delivery of studies/assessments, renovations, and new construction work
Knowledge and experience with:
- Mechanical/plumbing, electrical, or fire protection equipment and installation
- Mechanical/plumbing, electrical, or fire protection design principles and process
- ASHRAE, National Electrical Code, International Building Code, International Energy Conservation Code, and Life Safety Codes, LEED, EarthCraft, others
- Computer Aided Design and Drafting – AutoCAD and Revit
Demonstrated Abilities:
- Work within fast-paced, and often changing environment and priorities
- Detail oriented and Quality conscious
- Analyze and resolve complex conceptual and practical problems
- Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook
