We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at First Wave Families Patty Center for Family Support. Responsibilities
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards and promote childhood development.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- Monitor and assess student progress through observations and assessments.
- Provide individualized support for students, including those requiring early intervention or specialized tutoring.
- Engage with parents and guardians to discuss child welfare, progress, and any concerns regarding their development.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to share best practices and improve teaching strategies.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of childhood development theories and practices.
- Experience in classroom management
- Familiarity with Teaching Strategies Curriculum is preferred
- Previous experience with toddler care is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the community.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
