Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a vibrant restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and exceptional guest relations. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding hospitality.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using Aloha POS or similar systems.
• Communicate wait times to guests and provide updates as necessary.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the host area and dining room.
• Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, taking reservations or answering inquiries about the restaurant.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Handle guest complaints or feedback professionally, striving to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to guests.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest services and relations.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A friendly demeanor with a passion for hospitality and food service.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
