What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cook position at First Watch?
The primary responsibility of a Cook is to quickly, safely and efficiently prepare food for the customers using First Watch recipes and guidelines for food preparation. This position will be responsible for food preparation in various stations, including Plate, Middle, and Egg and Salad Stations. The cook will accurately and efficiently cook eggs, meats, seafood, vegetables, soups and other hot and cold food products. She/he will also prepare and portion food products prior to cooking and perform other duties, including plating and garnishing of cooked items and preparing appropriate garnishes for all “finished” plates. The Cook assumes 100% responsibility for the quality and presentation of products served. The cook is also responsible for the cleanliness of their work station(s).
About The Position
Our Back-of-the-House team members have a mutual respect for quality food, and they perform their responsibilities as if placing a personal signature on every plate. Newly hired cooks will train in a specific station based on their comfort level & innate skill. In other words, you don’t need to master the art of flipping an egg to work at First Watch (unless you want to!).

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
