Position Summary:
The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist physicians in the evaluation and treatment of urologic conditions. This role ensures accurate imaging, patient safety, and exceptional patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic urologic ultrasound exams in accordance with physician orders
- Ensure proper equipment operation, calibration, and maintenance
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Adhere to HIPAA, safety, and infection control standards
- Provide professional, compassionate patient interaction
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- ARDMS or ARRT certification (or registry-eligible)
- Prior experience in urology or vascular ultrasound preferred
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Education and Certifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- ARDMS or ARRT certification (or registry-eligible)
