First United Methodist Church in Downers Grove, IL is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to support the on Sunday mornings in our Nursery for infants through preschool. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Monitor children's behavior and apply effective behavior management techniques
- Maintain a clean and organized environment that adheres to health and safety standards
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying is highly preferred
- Experience with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or children with special needs is advantageous
- Certification in first aid and CPR is would be great, but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse groups of children and collaborate with team members
