- Acts as a role model for Relationship Bankers and Tellers by leading through example.
- Builds trust with employees and customers through consistent communication, follow-through, and relationship-building.
- Fosters and equips team to engage customers in meaningful Spend Life Wisely conversations, moving beyond transactions to trusted mentorship.
- Serves as the primary retail leader of the financial center, responsible for day-to-day leadership while aligning strategies with the Community Bank President.
- Partners with the Community Bank President to implement growth strategies, focusing on deposit growth, cross-selling, and customer retention.
- Demonstrates knowledge of retail and small business solutions, including cash management and digital services.
- Directs sales processes by setting clear goals, coaching for performance, and monitoring progress with team and individual results.
- Develops team members’ consultative conversation skills to deepen and retain customer relationships.
- Encourages outbound calling, community engagement, and relationship development to expand customer reach.
- Coordinates sales campaigns and incentives to drive results while reinforcing consistency across locations.
- Manages the hiring, onboarding, training, and performance development of team members.
- Provides regular coaching, one-on-one meetings, and feedback to drive engagement and accountability.
- Balances high expectations with support and encouragement to promote both individual and team success.
- Partners with the Community Bank President, HR, and Regional Retail Manager on employee relations matters, ensuring fairness and adherence to policies.
- Ensures operational excellence by maintaining accountability for compliance, risk, and audit standards, while delegating daily task execution to team members.
- Proactively addresses operational issues and ensures sustainable long-term solutions.
- Maintains oversight of branch facilities, marketing materials, and overall customer experience standards.
- Represents First United Bank in the community by participating in civic, service, and business organizations.
- Builds visibility and credibility through consistent involvement in events, activities, and partnerships.
- Partners with Spend Life Wisely Ambassadors within the community market.
- Completes all required compliance and regulatory training annually.
- Adherence to all First United policies, procedures, and professional standards.
- Maintains a professional appearance consistent with bank guidelines.
- All other duties as assigned.

Education And Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
- Minimum of three years of management experience in banking , financial services, or retail.
- Strong leadership with the ability to inspire, influence, and lead teams toward shared goals.
- High interpersonal skills to build meaningful relationships internally and externally.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in managing multiple priorities with independence and sound judgment.
