We may have a great opportunity for you! First Unitarian Society has an immediate opening for an Evening Steward/Janitor position to join our janitorial team here in south Minneapolis on the edge of downtown.

This position is responsible for keeping all areas of our building campus clean and secure. Duties for this position include, mopping or vacuuming floors, cleaning restrooms, collecting trash, opening and closing doors, snow removal, and setting up tables and chairs. The hours for this position are evenings 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. 5 days a week, with additional days or hours if desired.

You Will:
-Perform cleaning duties such as mopping, vacuuming and dusting
-Set up and take down tables and chairs
-Empty waste baskets
-Clean restrooms, toilet, sink, floors
-Shoveling
-Perform light maintenance

You will Need:
-Education: Ability to read and comprehend instructions in English.
-Experience: 6 months janitorial experience preferred.
-Ability to read labels on containers required.
-Ability to run electrical equipment required.
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. required.
-Special event experience helpful.

Must be authorized to work in the US and be able to pass a background check.
