Major Responsibilities
- Reviews charges of discrimination, assesses company exposure to liability, and assists with making decisions on how case should be handled. Works with outside counsel when appropriate.
- Prepares company response to include position statement, correspondence, affidavits and other evidentiary documents.
- Reviews documents, interviews witnesses, reviews Company policies / labor contracts, and conducts analysis based upon facts of case necessary to prepare company defense/response.
- Reviews statutes, regulations, Company policies and labor contracts to evaluate causes of action and prepare defense of case accordingly.
- May assist with hearings and mediations as company representative designated to persuade government investigator to find in favor of company.
- Assists with negotiating and preparing settlement agreements and release documents at hearings and mediations of discrimination complaints.
- Maintain EEO database and EEO Teams files and library for all EEO complaints. Intake doe all incoming discrimination and wage claims; including notifying locations, scheduling call, updating database, send needed RPN, maintain electronic and paper files (in conjunction with the HR intern).
- Oversees and conducts administrative efforts for all discrimination complaints.
- Bachelors Degree Required
- A minimum of 1-2 years experience in employment laws and regulations
- Spreadsheet Software

- Database Software
- Interpreting laws/regulations and applying them to specific fact situations in a clear and concise manner
