Grow Together Therapy is seeking a compassionate and motivated Intervention Specialist or Reading Specialist to join our multidisciplinary pediatric team.

We believe the greatest progress happens when intervention occurs in a child's natural environment and families are active partners throughout the process.

This position is ideal for an Intervention Specialist or Reading Specialist who is looking for flexible, part-time work while making a meaningful impact outside of the traditional school setting and in a role that will grow.

Many of our providers are current educators who enjoy providing individualized support after school while working closely with families.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized intervention services for children through Ohio scholarship programs.
• Deliver services in the child's natural environment, including homes, schools, and community settings.
• Develop engaging, child-centered intervention sessions that support academic, behavioral, executive functioning, and developmental goals.
• Partner closely with parents and caregivers by providing education, coaching, and practical strategies that can be incorporated into everyday routines.
• Collaborate with Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists to provide coordinated, family-centered care.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation within our electronic medical record.
• Maintain professional licensure and liability insurance.

Qualifications

• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License or Reading Specialist License.
• Experience working with children with autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, developmental disabilities, or other educational needs preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Passion for collaborating with families and empowering caregivers.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.
• Professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to pass all required background checks.

• Flexible part-time schedule
• Afternoon and evening availability preferred
• Independent Contractor (1099)
