Preschool lead teacher 3K full time

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Preschool Lead Teacher for our 3K full-time program. Responsibilities

• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience
• Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards.
• Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management
• Deliver engaging lessons focused on literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning tailored to 3-year-olds’ developmental stages
• Collaborate with families to communicate children’s progress and address individual needs related to special education or early intervention programs
• Manage classroom routines efficiently while maintaining high standards of childcare and classroom management
• Incorporate best practices in childhood development, and behavior management to foster a nurturing atmosphere
• Utilize assessment tools such as standardized testing and formative evaluations to monitor student progress and inform instruction
• Flexibility in the hours and schedule of work. Center hours are M-F 6:30 am to 6:00 pm.

Experience

• Prior experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom setting is essential
• Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including Montessori methods and literacy education strategies
• Experience supporting children with special needs or participating in early intervention programs is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and specialists
• Familiarity with childcare regulations, daycare standards, and private school environments
• Proven ability to implement behavior management strategies that promote positive social interactions and emotional well-being

• Create fun and interactive lesson plans and learning experiences.
• Serve as a mentor to fellow teachers, assistant teachers and aides.
• Be caring, compassionate and love what they do!
• Ensure the safety and daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and center policies.
• Communicate directly with parents and prospective parents.
• Maintain a fun and interactive classroom that is clean and organized

• Eligible for bonus pay (approximately $2.00/hour) after 60 days of employment
