Role Responsibilities
In your role as Senior Controller you will work closely with the CFO to manage the overall accounting department functions and operations. You will manage the internal financial reporting for the bank and prepare GAAP compliant financial statements. Additionally, assisting with any/all financial audits and exams to ensure compliance and accuracy will be within your scope of responsibility. You will oversee vendor management, tax reporting and planning as well as work with the CFO and department managers during the annual budgeting process.
Role Requirements
You will bring with you a bachelor's degree in Accounting along with an Accounting Designation (CPA/CMA) (required). More than 10 years of experience in accounting, treasury or similar focus, with strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and regulations is necessary for success. We will look for experience with and thorough knowledge of banking operations, excellent communication skills, and analytical thinking.
