Job Title: Assistant Controller Department: Operations
Supervisor: Controller
Reporting Relationships: CFO, President
Type of Position: Full time; Hours 8:00 AM -5:00 PM M-F; Occasional evening/weekend work may be required – Some travel may be required
General Summary
This position requires an emphasis on confidentiality and accuracy. The Controller performs a variety of accounting duties for the internal accounts of the bank and will perform regulatory reporting, audits and is responsible for bank training on facility security and robbery safety.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- General Ledger Maintenance
- Application Balancing to GL
- Bond Accounting/GL Reconciliation
- Regulatory Reporting
- Preparation of Financial Reports
- Prepaid & Fixed Asset Accounting
- Payables/Receivables Accounting
- Miscellaneous Account Balancing/Reconciliation

Qualifications:Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Associate's degree in accounting, business management or related field, or 3 years’ experience in related field preferred
- Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word)
- Knowledge of Accounting Principles
- Good Verbal & Written Communication Skills
- Good Problem-Solving Abilities
