Description
First State Bank and Trust is looking for a part-time seasonal individual who will provide crucial support to the Tax Department, assisting with pre-production, production, and post-production tasks. This role helps ensure that all tax documents are processed accurately and compliance deadlines are met, and is a critical part of the department's success.
This position is expected to work approximately 30 hours per week between January and April 15th. However, hours can be adjusted to the candidate's availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive tax organizers and related information from staff.
- Organize, scan, and file electronic and physical tax documents.
- Ensure timely and accurate routing of documents to the appropriate preparer.
- Receive finalized returns, assemble tax binders, and notify officers of completion.
- Maintain the workflow process on the spreadsheet.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a tax office.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
