Electromechanical Assembly Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Assembly Technician with 2–3 years of experience in mechanical and electrical assembly. The ideal candidate should have experience working with mechanical components, reading engineering drawings, and performing basic to precision soldering.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to engineering drawings and specifications.

• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics.

• Perform soldering, wiring, and basic troubleshooting of electronic assemblies.

• Support prototype assembly and testing activities.

• Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.

• Inspect assembled components to ensure quality and accuracy.

• Maintain proper documentation and follow established assembly procedures.

• Follow workplace safety and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands-on mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical assembly experience.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to read mechanical blueprints and basic electrical schematics.

• Practical soldering and wiring experience.

• Familiarity with manufacturing tools and assembly processes.

• Basic computer skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in oilfield equipment manufacturing or servicing.

• Exposure to wireline, MWD, LWD, or drilling equipment.

• Previous employment with Weatherford, Baker Hughes, Halliburton, or ExxonMobil.

• IPC soldering certification or equivalent training.

Additional Requirements

• Must be available to work onsite in Fort Worth, TX.

• Local candidates strongly preferred.

• Available for a 12-month contract
