Role Description The Director of Nursing is a full-time, on-site leadership role located in Kingfisher, OK. This position oversees all nursing services, including planning, organizing, and directing the clinical operations to ensure high-quality, person-centered care. Daily responsibilities include supervising and mentoring nursing staff, coordinating resident care plans, monitoring clinical outcomes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. Qualifications
- Strong background in Nursing Management, including staff supervision, coaching, performance evaluation, and scheduling.
- Clinical expertise in Nursing and Medicine sufficient to guide complex resident care and support evidence-based practice.
- Experience in Long-term Care, with an understanding of regulatory requirements, care planning, and resident-centered practices.
- Knowledge of Infection Control principles, including surveillance, prevention, and response to outbreaks.
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oklahoma (or eligibility to obtain before start date).
- Several years of progressive nursing leadership experience, preferably in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, resolve conflicts, and foster an inclusive, respectful work environment.
