- High School Diploma or GED completion by the end of your graduating year is required.
- Associates and/or bachelor's degree related to business and/or finance preferred.
- 2-3 years of customer service, relevant banking, and/or professional experience are preferred.
- Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, typing, 10-key, and utilization of the internet is required.
- Commitment to demonstrating First Security's Core 5 values with customers and coworkers.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensure new accounts are accurately established in alignment with customer expectations and internal guidelines; promptly escalate issues with potential customers or regulatory impact.
- Prepare and process signature cards for new and revised accounts, including checking, savings, Safe Deposit Box, CDs, and IRAs.
- Monitor system reports, verify supporting documentation, correct discrepancies, and maintain compliance with regulations such as BSA, Regulation D, Regulation DD, and Regulation Q.
- Protect all customer information and bank operations through strict confidentiality.
- Operate computer software and equipment, telephone, scanner, and copier, and develop proficiency with internal banking systems.
- Maintain reliable transportation, punctual attendance, and the ability to work on-site with extended hours when necessary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
