What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at First Secure Bank & Trust?
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Project Manager plays a vital role in managing all phases of projects related to the First Secure Bank Group and its 3 bank charters.
The Project Manager also provides support to all departments within the holding company and banks by managing both departmental and enterprise-wide initiatives.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Demonstrate highest standards of personal and professional integrity, adhere to company’s policies and procedures, and comply with applicable laws, government rules and regulations.
· Complete all phases of project planning including but not limited to Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring/Controlling and closing of the project.
· Coordinate with project sponsor(s) and relevant stakeholders to keep them apprised of progress of projects.
· Develop appropriate project scopes and objectives, perform necessary risk assessments, build appropriate project team, draft project plan, plan and facilitate project kick-off meeting. Detailed project plan should include progress tracking and identify system requirements, tools and techniques needed.
· Address and assess risk (including compliance risk) requirements of any new vendor, product or service.
· Coordinate internal resources and vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
· Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
· Ensure resource availability and resource allocation.
· Report and escalate issues and delays to management as needed.
· Work with the VP of Bank Administration to assist with any policies and procedures related to the project.
· Work with the relevant stakeholders on identifying opportunities for process improvements as part of the project plan.
· Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation including facilitating a wrap up meeting and completing the Project Closure Checklist
· Measure project performance by managing project dashboards and requesting updates on current Bank projects for centralized monitoring, reporting and updates of enterprise-wide projects.
· Preparation of monthly project status updates.
· Oversee and maintain vendor relationships.
· Maintaining/updating the emergency response plans (BCP/DR/IRP/BIA) and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of employees and customers in event of an emergency.
· Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
· This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
· High School diploma or GED required, bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Experience:
· 2 or more years’ experience in Bank operations or related experience.
· Project Management experience preferred
Certifications/Licenses:
· None
Skills:
· Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint are preferred for this position, intermediate skills will be considered.
· Proficient in understanding banking industry regulations, data privacy laws, and compliance requirements.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with bank staff at all levels.
· Ability to work well in both independent and highly collaborative settings.
· Ability to deal with ambiguity, will need to work well with others to find the best resolution in situations where there are differing opinions.
· Advanced project management knowledge and understanding.
· Knowledge of Jack Henry Silverlake desired
· The ability to learn job or bank specific software applications.
· Ability to learn and perform complex processes to meet specific procedures, policies and bank regulations that govern the company.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills to maintain workflow volume and manage workload efficiently in a fast-paced banking environment.

· The ability to use hands/fingers to enter, retrieve and/or manipulate data using a keyboard and computer daily.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
