About The Role
We're looking for a dedicated and energetic leader to supervise and support staff in teaching individuals with disabilities skills for meaningful community involvement. You'll oversee Adult Day Service programs, ensure smooth operations, and serve as a liaison with families, volunteers, and community partners.
✅ Key Responsibilities
- Lead & Train: Supervise, coach, and assist staff in creating innovative skill-building opportunities.
- Program Oversight: Manage daily operations of Adult Day Services and maintain compliance.
- Documentation: Review MARs, conduct audits, and ensure accurate reporting.
- Activity Planning: Create monthly calendars with diverse activities for engagement.
- Communication: Act as a liaison with parents, guardians, and external contacts.
- Staff Scheduling: Develop schedules and maintain proper staff-to-client ratios.
- Financial Accuracy: Audit petty cash and verify billing reports.
- Direct Support: Step in to assist individuals when needed, including personal care.
- Safety & Compliance: Participate in emergency procedures and maintain confidentiality.
- Education: Associate's Degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
- Experience: 2 years with HCBS programs and DIA requirements; supervisory experience preferred.
- Skills: Basic computer knowledge, strong organizational and leadership abilities.
- Requirements:
- Lift 40 lbs without restrictions
- CPR/First Aid within 30 days
- Valid driver's license & auto insurance
- Ability to travel 25% and work occasional evenings/weekends
