First Realty Management is seeking a full-time, bilingual (English and Spanish) Assistant Property Manager with a "hands-on" approach to assist in ensuring the efficient operation of a multi-site office and apartment community, with a mix of multiple layered affordable housing programs within a scattered site portfolio. Tax and house credit experience is required (LIHTC).
Primary Responsibilities:
- Providing the highest quality product and service by:
- Operating the property within established financial guidelines and budget
- Ensuring physical property meets established property standards.
- Maintaining occupancy at established levels
- Reviewing delinquent accounts and take required action & Rent Collections.
- Annual Re-certifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree is required.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a must
- Must have some experience in multi-family rental housing with knowledge of:
- marketing, tax credits, Federal, State, HUD Section 8 housing, and local housing regulations.
- Tax and house credit experience is required.
- Must have strong accounting and mathematical skills.
- Must have strong resident relations skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Must have strong resident relations skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to take initiative.
- Superior judgement and decision making skills.
- Prior experience with Real Page affordable & marketing software module is a plus.
