General Cleaner/Porter

First Priority Emergency Vehicles is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Cleaner to join our team at the Manchester, NJ facility. The General Cleaner/Porter will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient environment. This position supports our team by assisting with vehicle preparation, facility cleaning, inventory organization, and general upkeep inside and outside the building.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain the production floor and surrounding areas.
• Clean bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, floors, trash, and restocking supplies.
• Clean office areas including office furniture, desks, tables, floors and common spaces.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain office floors and production floors.
• Perform general janitorial duties throughout the building.
• Maintain cleanliness of outside areas as needed (trash pickup, sweeping walkways, etc.).
• Assist with basic maintenance tasks.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Prior experience in a similar role is a plus
