Job description
This person will be responsible for checking fluid levels, (engine oil, power steering, trans, differential, and hyd. oil) and performing preventive maintenance such as oil changes and filter replacements, greasing components, checking tire pressures and flat tires, repairing lights. Able to use a computer to enter service information and charge out all parts needed.
- Must be able to drive trucks with manual and automation transmissions to and from shop
- Injects grease into components such as springs, u-joints, steering knuckles, and other moving parts with a grease gun
- Inspect and all fluid levels on truck and body
- Check air pressures in tires
- Change out flat tires
- Change oil and filters
- Add antifreeze to radiators
- Check all lights and replace blown bulbs as needed
