What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Sales Representative position at First Piedmont Corporation?
The ideal candidate will increase new account sales in a protected local market territory by growing existing accounts, identifying new opportunities and following up on new potential leads while utilizing a proven sales system that works. The Outside Sales Representative will service our Roanoke/New River Valley Territory
Responsibilities
- Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business
- Service existing clients
- Effectively demonstrate product line
- Meet established goals for territory development and sales quotas
- Develop customized sales strategies and maintain high productivity levels
- Negotiate sales contracts including pricing, terms and conditions, and scope of services.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years' experience in cold calling & B2B sales with strong track record of success
- Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
- A valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
