A Day in the Life of a Quality Assurance Engineer
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you collaborate closely with software developers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure every product meets the highest standards. From the first line of code to the final release, you identify and address bugs, defects, or performance issues, ensuring a seamless and reliable user experience.
You focus on prevention and precision by designing and implementing thorough testing processes, procedures, and standards that align with customer expectations and industry regulations. By creating test plans, writing test cases, running automated scripts, and providing feedback throughout the development lifecycle, you help deliver products that not only work but excel, driving continuous improvement and innovation across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage QA standards across the SDLC and CM processes
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts (functional, regression, performance, integration, and UAT)
- Collaborate with developers and 3rd parties to ensure software meets quality benchmarks
- Identify, document, and resolve defects and requirement gaps promptly
- Lead manual and automated testing efforts across cross-functional teams
- Facilitate product demos, UAT, and feedback sessions with internal and external stakeholders
- Drive QA initiatives at the product and feature level
Experience & Education:
- 3 years QA/testing experience in Agile environments
- 2 years experience with UI test automation (Playwright, Selenium)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git, CircleCI), and cloud/SaaS platforms
- Experience with API testing (Postman, Swagger) and performance/load testing (K6)
- Development experience in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Salary : $85,000 - $90,000
