Wealth Banking Administrator

First Merchants Bank is seeking a Wealth Banking Administrator to join our team! This position will provide administrative support to Private Wealth Banking client facing employees (officers). As needed, may offer administrative support to related PWA lines of business.

As Part Of This Role, You Will

• Provide administrative support for assigned Private Bankers and Non-Profit Bankers in the administration of accounts within the limits of authority.
• Ensure all credit applications/requests are supported with appropriate information and meet the standard requirements as defined in the bank's policies and processes.
• Assist the assigned officers to ensure compliance with Regulation B.
• Manage the disbursement of loan proceeds and fee collection with accuracy, ensuring all actions are consistent with the executed loan documents and regulatory standards
• Maintain appropriate working knowledge of all Private Wealth Banking deposit products and services.
• Responsible for coordination, opening, closing, and maintenance of deposit accounts and related services.
• Facilitate and Monitor the Private Wealth Banking commercial and consumer loans in process using various software programs.
• Monitor and manage upcoming maturities, delinquent accounts, loan portfolio and deposit account exceptions and exception tracking, loan and deposit reporting requirements, etc.
• Complete requests from clients which may include account inquiries, fund transfers, deposits/withdrawals, wire transfers, etc.
  
  

To be successful in this position, we require the following:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• A minimum of one (1) year of related administrative experience.
• Customer service experience.
  
  

The Following Would Be a Plus

• Bachelor's degree.
• Consumer or Commercial banking administrative experience.
• Familiarity with banking terminology, regulations and compliance related areas such as KYC, OFAC and CIP
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills, attention to detail and time management.
