First Liberty Institute’s Front Desk Assistant is responsible for general reception work and assisting with donor processes.

First Liberty Institute’s Front Desk Assistant is responsible for general reception work and assisting with donor processes.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to callers in person and over the phone in a professional and courteous manner
- Answer incoming calls, answer general company questions, and route calls to appropriate staff
- Route legal calls to Legal Intake Team via online Request for Legal Help form and/or transferring call
- Maintain a call log of legal help requests and submit monthly to Legal Intake Team
- Monitor Info email inbox and reply to or forward emails accordingly
- Ensure the reception area and adjoining conference rooms are tidy and stocked with necessary supplies
- Ensure kitchen and office are stocked with necessary supplies
- Order and maintain reception flowers
- Notify Guest Services of visitors to First Liberty
- Schedule meeting rooms for First Liberty staff meetings
- Schedule devotional speakers for First Liberty staff meetings and maintain rotation log
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Handle returned mail to include updating and creating records in Raisers Edge
- Alert Senior Director of Human Resources and COO of phone or email threats or concerns
- Alert THC Security of potential security issues on-site
- Serve as Fire Warden for Suite 1600
- Notify IT and Senior Director of HR of phone issues
- Other duties as assigned
Donor Processing
- Process requests to update donor records in the donor management system to include opt-outs and changes to contact information
- Process opt-out requests generated from Acquisition mail
- Process returned mail in a timely manner, to include updating or creating records in the donor management system, and notifying Ministry Relations
- Complete donation forms to record donations and payment updates
Requirements:
- Must a professing Christian, agree with and sign First Liberty’s Articles of Faith
- High School diploma
- Experience as a receptionist or office assistant preferred
- Must possess computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- View role with a ministry passion and able to articulate the mission and vision of First Liberty
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong customer service skills with an innate ability to engage with all personality types
- Capable of completing a variety of tasks at times in a fast-paced environment
- Able to answer and route phone calls
- Able to handle security-sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
- Able to handle difficult callers
- Strong organizational skills
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of answering phone calls
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to walk, stand, bend and move about to complete job duties
