What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Support Associate position at First Legal Network LLC?
Position Summary:
In a deadline-driven environment, physical and electronic document management includes electronic uploads and download of files, scanning multiple documents, large volume printing, shipping & packaging of hard copy transcripts. Additionally, e-Discovery work flow often includes receiving, storing, connecting, and client drives for the team to be able to remote in and work.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create professional copies of court transcripts and exhibits
- Assemble and package legal files for shipment
- Hard copy & e-mail exhibit management
- Coordinate with other departments to retrieve documents in a timely manner
- Establishing and maintaining quality control to ensure work accuracy.
- Organize and maintain existing hard copy exhibits based on retention policies
- Connect hard drives timely to an assigned computer based on e-discovery protocol when needed
Job Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Computer and Data Entry skills
- Professional phone etiquette
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
- Working knowledge of computers or a demonstrated technical aptitude and ability to learn and adapt new applications
Schedule/Locations:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm
- In Office: Los Angeles, CA
