What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mortgage Loan Consultant/Lehigh Valley-Pocono area position at First Keystone Community Bank?
Become part of the winning team at First Keystone Community Bank, an independently owned community bank with over 160 years of experience in banking and serving our local communities. An immediate opening is available for a full-time Mortgage Loan Consultant to develop new mortgage business in the Lehigh Valley/Pocono areas. This position is based out of our office located at 1503 Linden St., Bethlehem. The ideal candidate will be a positive, pro-active, problem-solving team player willing to hold themselves accountable.
The successful candidate will solicit new business from both present and prospective customers and follow up on mortgage referrals from bank employees; develop relationships with customers, realtors, builders, and community/civic organizations to promote mortgage loan opportunities; generate new business; and represent the bank at closing.
Position requires knowledge of the features and benefits of mortgage loan products and services as well current mortgage lending regulations. Prior lending experience is preferred. Must be self-motivated and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
