First Internet Bank provides exciting internship opportunities for individuals pursuing their degree. The purpose of the First Internet Bank Internship Program is to provide a hands-on experience in a business setting and to present interns with real world insight into regulatory compliance for financial institutions. As a Regulatory Compliance Intern at First Internet Bank, you will have the opportunity to work closely with various members throughout different lines of business within the Bank as well as our external Fintech partners in order to complete a variety of tasks.

As a Regulatory Compliance Intern at First Internet Bank, you will have the opportunity to work closely with various members throughout different lines of business within the Bank as well as our external Fintech partners in order to complete a variety of tasks.
What You Will Do
- Assist with managing the compliance testing schedule, and completing tasks on time
- Assist in research regarding current and future regulatory requirements that may impact both Fintech and Core Bank processes.
- Participate in internal and external meetings with colleagues/Fintech partners
- Provide support while the Bank continues to implement regulatory changes
- Assist in reviewing and approving Marketing material
- Assist in data analysis and data verification processes.
- Assist with periodic administrative tasks, as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Current Sophomore, Junior, or Senior with demonstrated interest in finance/banking
- This internship requires an ongoing pursuit of a college degree preferably in business, finance, compliance, risk management, or a related field
- Experience utilizing Excel and other Microsoft Office products, including pivot table creation
- Excellent analytical, organization & data management skills
- Must possess the ability to collaborate with internal/external partners
- Proficient level of problem solving, learning on the fly, and making the best use of system capabilities.
- Superb communication skills
- Current Sophomore, Junior, or Senior with demonstrated interest in finance/banking, legal or risk.
- This internship requires an ongoing pursuit of a college degree preferably in business, finance, accounting, legal, risk, data analysis, or a related field
- Curiosity and ability to learn about both traditional and Fintech banking platforms
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Outlook
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of Zoom platform and functions
- Excellent organization & data management skills
- Basic knowledge of some Banking products
- Must possess the ability to collaborate with internal/external partners
