Security Guard (First Hawaiian Center)

First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a Security Guard to join our Security Department in Downtown Honolulu. In this role, you will support the physical security program at First Hawaiian Center (FHC) by providing a safe and secure environment for FHB employees, tenant employees, visitors, materials and assets on premise while on duty. The Security Guard also prepares a security guard shift report/log documenting security activity, observations and incidents.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 1 year of experience in physical security, including experience with security monitoring systems required
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Complete Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs Guard Employee Registration (“Guard Card”) – not required for application purposes, but must receive within 3 months of hire
• Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certification
• Military/police/security courses
• First Aid, CPR and AED trained
• Must have the ability to read and write
• Good oral and interpersonal skills
• Ability to use telephone and portable radio
• Working knowledge of computer operation
• Available to work over-time as needed, weekends, holidays or rotating shifts
• Security Guards are subject to call in 24 hours a day and, therefore, will be required to provide a telephone number where they may be reached

Salary : $35,900 - $45,400
