Job Description
First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a BSA Investigator to join the team in the BSA Division.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM (hours may vary)
Compensation:
The pay range for this role is $47,500 - $57,500/yr; commensurate with experience
Responsibilities
In this role, the BSA Investigator will be responsible for various tasks related to the Bank's BSA/AML Compliance Program and Compliance Management Program to assure compliance with established policies and procedures to reduce liability or potential risk of penalties.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree in business-related field, criminal justice, finance or equivalent experience required
Previous BSA/AML work experience preferred
1+ years of related work experience preferably specializing in financial crimes, regulatory and/or law enforcement required
Ability to independently monitor workload, deadlines and reporting requirements
Solid interpersonal, written and oral skills
Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate information to a diverse group and individuals
Effective listening skills with the ability to digest and respond appropriately to management, customers and external contacts
Ability to analyze historical data to identify patterns and form justifiable conclusions
Strong organization, investigative and researching skills
Ability to assist in various areas such as SARs, CTRs, OFAC and High-Risk monitoring
Proactive and good motivation with effective problem solving, negotiation and follow-up skills
Thorough knowledge of AML/BSA regulations as it relates to identifying and reporting suspicious activity
Thorough knowledge of branch/back-office operations
Strong knowledge of bank systems, banking concepts, FinCEN guidelines and SAR requirements
