We're looking for a detail-oriented, service-driven Loan Processor. This role is critical to ensuring a smooth and accurate loan experience from closing through funding while helping members take important steps toward their financial goals.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll play a key role in bringing loans across the finish line while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and a positive member experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing multiple consumer and mortgage loan pipelines simultaneously while maintaining quality, accuracy, and service standards.
• Preparing and sending loan closing packages to members.
• Reviewing executed loan documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Booking and funding loans within the Credit Union's core processing systems.
• Coordinating loan disbursements and ensuring proceeds are delivered to the appropriate parties.
• Obtaining and tracking post-closing documentation from dealers, insurance providers, attorneys, and other third parties.
• Reviewing loan files and documentation to ensure compliance with Credit Union policies, investor requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Processing residential mortgage applications and following up with members for required documentation.
• Enhancing key lending operations by coordinating critical closing, funding, documentation, and quality control activities to facilitate successful loan origination and portfolio management.
• Supporting cross-functional lending operations through cross-training and backup coverage.

What You Bring to the Table

Qualifications include:

• Experience in consumer lending, mortgage processing, loan operations, financial services, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of loan documentation, funding processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency with lending systems, core processing platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teammates and business partners.
