Fertility Centers of New England is seeking a Clinical Medical Assistant to join our growing fertility team. This role is ideal for a highly organized and compassionate medical assistant who enjoys working directly with patients while supporting physicians and nurses during fertility procedures and treatment planning.

Position Overview
The Fertility Clinical Assistant supports physicians and the clinical team with patient care, procedures, testing coordination, and patient education following consultations. This role plays a key part in ensuring patients clearly understand their next steps in the fertility treatment process.
Responsibilities

Assist physicians and nurses during fertility procedures and clinical visits

Prepare exam and procedure rooms, ensuring all equipment and supplies are ready

Provide post-consult patient education regarding ordered tests, next steps, and treatment instructions

Coordinate diagnostic testing and ensure patients understand required fertility evaluations

Support patient flow and ensure smooth clinic operations

Accurately document patient interactions in the electronic medical record

Assist with blood draws, vitals, and specimen handling when needed

Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment

Provide compassionate support to patients throughout their fertility care
Qualifications

Certified or Registered Medical Assistant preferred

Experience in OB/GYN, women's health, or fertility preferred

Strong communication and patient education skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Comfortable working closely with physicians and clinical staff
Compensation
-
$25 – $28 per hour, based on experience
Training
- Training done in our Reading, MA Location
Travel
- Travel to other FCNE locations as needed.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required
-
Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent clinical experience

1 year of experience working in a medical office or clinical setting

Strong patient communication and education skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining attention to detail

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff

Compassionate and professional demeanor when working with patients
Preferred Qualifications

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or equivalent certification

Experience in fertility, reproductive medicine, OB/GYN, or women’s health
