We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Loan Processor to join our dynamic team in the financial services industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the loan origination process, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and compliant with relevant regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of mortgage guidelines, underwriting processes, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to both clients and loan officers.
What You'll Do
- Review and analyze loan applications for completeness and accuracy.
- Process loans in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with loan officers to gather necessary documentation for underwriting.
- Conduct credit analysis to assess borrower eligibility.
- Maintain detailed records of all loan processing activities.
- Utilize basic math skills for calculations related to loans, escrow, and other financial documents.
- Communicate effectively with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders throughout the loan processing cycle.
What You Bring
- 1 year of proven experience in loan processing or related roles within the financial services sector.
- Familiarity with mortgage guidelines, servicing, and underwriting practices.
- Strong understanding of credit analysis principles and banking operations.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in basic math and capable of performing calculations accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
