Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Mortgage Loan Processor, located in Ocean Township, NJ, which is an in-office, on location position. The Mortgage Loan Processor will oversee the end-to-end loan processing cycle, including collecting, reviewing, and verifying borrower documents. You will liaise with clients and industry professionals, ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulations, and maintain accurate records to facilitate the timely closing of loans. Additional responsibilities include ensuring all loan documentation is completed accurately and managing communication between borrowers, underwriters, and loan officers.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Mortgage Industry and Mortgage Lending practices
- Experience with Loan Processing and familiarity with Loans documentation
- Knowledge of Underwriting standards and regulatory compliance requirements
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to review financial documents accurately
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in using loan processing software and related tools
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience is a plus
