Investment Services Assistant (part-time)
We are hiring a part-time Investment Services Assistant to join our Yankton team. This person will assist one or more investment brokers in performance of sales and operational activities by speaking with clients, answering operations questions and interfacing with back office operations. Perform a variant of administrative duties to support office and individual financial advisor’s functions. Hours vary Monday-Friday 10:00am-2:00pm, with a flexible schedule, typically working 20 hours each week.
Duties
  • Answer and screen telephone calls received by financial advisors. Record messages and assist clients with basic questions or problems regarding their account.
  • Perform sales support duties such as communicating with clients, conducting and tracking large mailings, scheduling appointments.
  • Provide administrative support activities, which may include standard business word processing, processing incoming/outgoing mail, maintaining client documents, operating office equipment and software.
  • Work closely with other support staff and office personnel to identify and resolve operational issues of accounts, new accounts, and maintain proper account documents.
  • Perform basic research on accounts, client account statements and basic portfolio valuations.
  • Project management including prospecting mailings, marketing campaigns, and referral incentive campaigns.
  • In-office attendance is a must.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

The ability to process a variety of tasks accurately and efficiently, the capability to maintain strict confidentiality, attention to detail and comply with all Bank policies and procedures. Communicate effectively with various types of clientele, co-workers and departments to resolve an assortment of needs. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. Punctuality is a must.

Education/Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one-year of customer service experience preferred.
Work Environment
Office: The work environment of this job includes interacting with others in an office setting, and the noise level is usually moderate.
Physical Demands
Light: The physical demands of this job include bending, sitting, and occasionally lifting up to 10 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
