What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coordinator for Youth Faith Formation position at First Congregational Church?
First Congregational Church, a progressive Christian church located in the heart of downtown Oshkosh, is looking for a creative, self-starter adult employee to help revive our youth faith formation program and lead these programs.
Our new program will include faith formation sessions, community service opportunities, and intergenerational activities. With refreshed classroom spaces, we will use A Joyful Path curriculum to live our theme of Grow Together. Our youth will explore ways to grow their spirituality, connect to the earth, build their love of neighbor, and create a solid foundation to follow the path of Jesus in today’s world.

We are a community of faith of about 300 members which strives to continually discover how God is still speaking to us and guiding us in ministry today and in the future.
We are seeking an open and innovative person who will collaborate with others to make this vision a reality.
This position is 28 hours per week including approximately 6 hours on Sunday. The pay range is $20-$22/hr. As a part time position, this job does not qualify for health insurance and other such benefits.
APPLICANTS MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OF AGE AS YOU WILL BE LEADING GROUPS WHICH MAY INCLUDE PARTICIPANTS UP TO 18 YEARS OLD. PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE AS AN EDUCATOR, EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHER, OR OTHER RELATED WORK OR EDUCATION EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
